Promotion Rules January 1st, 2026 – October 31st, 2026 OR while quantities last!

The “BONUS BUCKS EVENT” promotion begins on Friday, January 2, 2026, and ends when all associated Village gift certificates are claimed or on Sunday, October 31st, 2026, at 5 pm, whichever comes first.  Monthly allocations are made and a limited quantity of gift certificates are available monthly.

An accumulation of Village Shopping Centre purchase receipts (min of $10) that amount to $200 or more (tax incl.) may be validated at the Promotions Kiosk to receive $20 in Village Shopping Centre gift certificates.

Receipt Eligibility

Only one receipt per day per store will be accepted toward the promotion.

Multiple receipts from the same store on the same calendar day will not be accepted, regardless of purchase amount.

Receipts must be dated within the current promotion month.

Store-Specific Limits

A maximum of one receipt from Pipers and one receipt from No Frills may be submitted per month.  Each eligible receipt may contribute up to $50 toward the monthly total.

Eligible receipts must be dated within the month of validation.

Validation starts on the 24th of each month until the end of the month or while quantities last for the month in question.

Electronic receipts (on smart device or printed out) or copies are not eligible – they must be actual cash register receipts.

Each participant must present, in person, valid Government photo identification with proof of current address. Participants may only register their own purchases.

Participants may claim one $20 gift certificate per month during this promotion. All receipts may only be used once. Once a receipt has been registered and validated, it may not be used in any other promotion offered at The Village Shopping Centre.

Layaway receipts are only eligible upon final payment. Bill payments or the purchase of gift cards are not eligible.

Gift certificates are valid only until the end of the month in which they are issued. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, have no cash value, and are valid at all Village Shopping Centre merchants. They may not be transferred or exchanged for cash money or used to buy retail gift cards. It is advised to use the full amount as no change will be given.

If items on receipt(s) are returned less than 30 days after purchase – the $20 Village Shopping Centre gift certificate must be returned to the Administration Office.

Purchase receipts of travel arrangements at LeGrows Travel are only eligible for redemption on the originating receipt of travel arrangements with a maximum eligibility of $20 per person on receipt – if each person’s purchase is over $200. All subsequent payments on the original purchase are not eligible. Each person on receipt/itinerary must be present to validate receipt and receive their gift certificate.

This promotion is open to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador over 18 years of age, with the exception of any and all employees of any tenant, store, service, or occupant of the Village Shopping Centre, their immediate families, and all Plaza Group Management Limited employees and their immediate families.

Participants agree to all “BONUS BUCKS EVENT” promotion’s rules by way of participating. All decisions relating to this promotion are to be made by the Village Shopping Centre and shall be considered as final. The Village Shopping Centre reserves the right to discontinue or adjust rules of this promotion at any time.

**VBB Quarterly Consolation Prize Promotion

Rules & Regulations**

  1. Promotion Overview

The VBB Quarterly Consolation Prize Promotion (“Promotion”) provides eligible customers with the opportunity to win one (1) of ten (10) consolation prizes of $100 in VBB gift certificates, awarded quarterly.

  1. Eligibility
  1. Customers who qualify for the monthly VBB promotion but do not receive a VBB gift certificate due to unavailable stock at the time of their qualifying transaction will receive one (1) ballot for the quarterly consolation draw.
  2. Ballots are issued only to eligible customers as determined by VBB Administration.
  1. Ballot Distribution & Submission
  1. Eligible customers may pick up their ballots in person at the Administration Office, during regular office hours:
    Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  2. Ballots must be completed and submitted in the designated ballot box located within the Administration Office before the quarterly draw deadline.
  1. Quarterly Draw Dates

The quarterly consolation prize draws will take place at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the following dates each year:

  • March 31
  • June 30
  • September 30

If any draw date falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, the draw will occur on the next business day at noon.

  1. Each quarterly draw will award ten (10) prizes, each consisting of $100 in VBB gift certificates.
  2. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. They have no cash value and cannot be substituted or transferred.
  1. Winner Selection & Notification
  1. Winners will be selected through a random draw from all properly completed ballots received before the draw deadline.
  2. Winners will be notified by the contact information provided on their ballot.
  3. If a winner cannot be reached within seven (7) business days, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate ballot drawn.

General Conditions

  1. VBB reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any ballot that is incomplete, illegible, tampered with, or submitted in violation of these rules.
  2. VBB is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or damaged ballots.
  3. By submitting a ballot, participants agree to abide by these Rules & Regulations.
  4. VBB reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time, where necessary, without prior notice.
